Didier Zokora has not long been a free agent and is still awaiting his next move.
The 33-year-old versatile defensive midfielder would certainly be an asset to most sides in MLS.
He may not bring a goal-scoring option to a team, but he is undoubtedly someone who can bring steel and drive to a midfield or defence.
Still a full international, it is clear Zokora’s ability is valued on the biggest stage as he has represented the Ivory Coast at this summer’s World Cup.
His experience of playing at the highest level with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League would be a factor for clubs to want to sign him, and he helped Spurs win the 2008 League Cup final.
Zokora also played a key role in Sevilla’s return to Champions League football in his first season with the Spanish side and also helped bring them success in the Copa Del Rey final.
He has played in numerous defensive roles; giving various options to managers he has featured under.
The Ivorian could be the key to a mid-table MLS side finding stability in their midfield and his addition would push them towards the top end of the league.
Where could Zokora go with an MLS move?
