Vancouver Whitecaps are currently sitting in fifth position in the Western Conference with 46 points and are just one point ahead of Portland Timbers with two games remaining.
They travel to San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday before facing Colorado Rapids in the last game of the regular season.
Their fate is entirely in their own hands as two wins secures a place in the playoffs.
Jordan Harvey has been a stalwart in the Whitecaps back line, making 31 appearances this season, missing just one game through suspension and he has also chipped in with 2 goals.
And he is confident that Vancouver can seal their playoff position and make a charge towards the MLS Cup this year.
He said: “We’re in a good place [to seal a playoff position], we need these two games though – the hottest teams usually do well going into playoffs.”
Vancouver are on a run of three straight wins going in to the final two games of the season so it’s just the kind of form that Harvey is talking about.
An exciting finale to the 2014 season beckons and it doesn’t look like it’s going to disappoint.
Will Vancouver Whitecaps finish in a playoff position?
