Cesc Fabregas remaining grounded despite Chelsea quadruple talk

Chelsea’s influential midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, expressed after last nights game that the team aren’t thinking about what could be by the end of the season and said: “we should wait and see.”

Many have predicted Mourinho’s men will win the Premier League and have every chance of being successful on all fronts, as they look to do the quadruple this season.

But Fabregas thinks there is room for improvement in the squad: “You can always get better, we are trying to improve in training by doing what the manager tells us to do,” he said.

The move to Chelsea has been an instant hit for Fabregas and his previous Premier League experience with Arsenal has helped him no end.

He’s formed an immediate relationship with Diego Costa, as well as Eden Hazard and the Belgian is another who has been impressive. Things are looking good for the Blues.

Fabregas doesn’t see himself as a more important player than anyone else in the squad despite many calling him out as the main factor behind Chelsea’s success this season.

He was very humble in his post match interview from last night’s League Cup win away at Derby County: “we have a very strong squad, not just the team, everyone performs really well.”

The Spaniard has 15 assists and three goals already this season and Chelsea will need him to continue his great run of form until the end of the season if they’re to win multiple trophies.

How important is Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea?
