Juan Agudelo‘s return to Major League Soccer with the New England Revolution has now officially been confirmed by the 2014 MLS Cup runners-up and the 22-year-old will hope to pick up where he left off in 2015.
Agudelo scored seven goals with one assist in 14 regular season appearances for the Revs following his trade from Chivas USA in May 2013, before heading across the pond to Europe in the hope of making it with Stoke City.
However, two failed work permit attempts and 12 months later, Agudelo is back in New England with the Revs. There have been a mixture of reactions to the USMNT forward’s return on Twitter with some thrilled to have him back and others quick to mention his failed European dream.
