MUST WATCH: Montreal Impact “in love with Reo-Coker”

The Montreal Impact have showed their affections for new midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker on Valentines Day by releasing a hilarious parody song named “I’m in love with Reo-Coker”.

Reo-Coker was selected by the Montreal Impact in the Waiver Draft back in December after leaving Chivas USA when the club folded at the end of the 2014 season.

And he is clearly welcome in his new home in Montreal as this parody of the O.T. Genasis hit, “CoCo” clearly points out.

WATCH: “I’m in love with Reo-Coker” (via Montreal Impact on YouTube):

The original song, “CoCo” has become a viral hit in recent months and the official YouTube video has well over 80,000,000 plays.

It’s unlikely that “I’m in love with Reo-Coker” will reach those heights, but the lyrics and video make for some good entertainment.

The Impact will hope Reo-Coker can become a key man for the Eastern Conference outfit who finished last season with the lowest points tally in Major League Soccer as the final lyrics to the song hail the Englishman’s “midfield presence”.

“Midfield presence, we got midfield presence!
Midfield presence, we got midfield presence!

Tackled by the king, Nigel! (woo woo woo woo!)
Through-ball to the wing, Nigel!

I’m in love with Reo-Coker
I’m in love with Reo-Coker
We got him, now it’s over
I’m in love with Reo-Coker”

Will Nigel Reo-Coker be a key man for the Montreal Impact in 2015?
