Last week images were leaked across the web of various 2015 MLS shirts and the style of Toronto’s jersey was one of those, though the images did not have a sponsor on as it was unclear if the Reds’ kit would still promote the Bank of Montreal this year.
Though a deal must have been worked out as BMO is plastered across the front of the new shirt, as modelled by Giovinco in this leaked image by @Giovincofanpage on Instagram.
All MLS kits will feature the new league’s logo on both sleeves this season with each one altered so that the team’s colours are displayed.
All kits are still manufactured by Adidas as the MLS deal with the sportswear company runs until the 2018 season.
Sebastian Giovinco will be expected to help Toronto reach the MLS Playoffs for the first time in the club’s history in 2015 and the Italian will hope to form a solid partnership with the team’s other new Designated Player, Jozy Altidore.
Toronto FC open up the new season away at the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday, March 7.
