MLS Power Rankings: Week 4 – Vancouver into second, Union fall to bottom

The world may be focusing on international fixtures but the fourth weekend of the 2015 Major League Soccer season still took place and that means it’s time for our updated MLS Power Rankings.

Several teams were left depleted by international absentees and so results were affected. FC Dallas still managed to remain unbeaten against a Seattle Sounders side missing it’s five best players as the Western Conference giants drew 0-0.

Dallas stay top of our Power Rankings for another week, with the Vancouver Whitecaps and New York Red Bulls pushing up to sit in second and third respectively after both won this week.

At the other end, the Chicago Fire got off bottom spot after winning their first game of the season against the Philadelphia Union, who fall to the bottom of the pile.

DC United were the biggest risers this week after beating LA Galaxy 1-0 late on and the Eastern Conference side are up nine places from last week’s rankings.
