Chelsea star insists he his happy at the club despite transfer talk

Filipe Luis has stated he is happy at Chelsea and has no intention of leaving the club before his contract is up, Sky Sports have reported.

The Brazilian left-back had been reportedly unhappy at the club and seeking a move back to Atletico but insists this is not the case.

“I’m happy at Chelsea. I want to stay at the club until the end of my contract.

“We have a chance to win the Premier League. Everyone wants to be there to try to help the team to win the league.”

Filipe Luis signed for The Blues last summer for £15.8m but has played second fiddle to Cesar Azpilicueta for the majority of the 2014/15 campaign.

The 29-year-old has featured just 12 times in the Premier League this season and knows the pressure of the remaining games if his side are to be crowned champions.

“The Premier League is never easy. We have to be better than ever because these games are coming up with a lot of pressure, but I think we’re prepared to cope with the hard situation we have.”

Chelsea return to Premier League action this weekend as they welcome Stoke City to Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Will Filipe Luis be a Chelsea player next season?
