Another busy week of MLS action is behind us and that means it’s time to look at the latest MLSGB Power Rankings.
New York City FC and Philadelphia Union both had two games in Week 7 but were unable to record a victory as the two played out a draw on Thursday night before losing at home to the Portland Timbers and New England Revolution respectively.
The Revs are now unbeaten in five and have climbed seven places into sixth from last week’s rankings.
They were one of seven clubs to rise in the rankings this week, while the New York Red Bulls remain second after another win keeps them as the last remaining unbeaten side in MLS.
Vancouver Whitecaps stay top after beating Real Salt Lake, who lost their first game of the season to the ‘Caps on Saturday night.
RSL were one of six clubs to fall in the rankings, with Orlando City also dropping out of the top ten once again as they struggle to find consistency.
The Lions have been up and down all season but lost 3-0 at Columbus on Saturday in their heaviest defeat yet.
