Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood is already planning his summer targets in what will be his first preseason stint as a head coach, despite the fact that the Premier League club’s season is far from over, as Massimo Luongo is being linked with a move to the club, according to the Daily Mail.
The Villains still have five league games to play as they look to guarantee their safety in the top flight as well as a special FA Cup final at Wembley against Arsenal.
Sherwood, who has performed an incredible job at Villa since taking over from Paul Lambert, is already planning moves for new players this summer though.

The 22-year-old Australian midfielder left Spurs for Swindon in August 2013 and has gone on to make almost 100 appearances for the Football League outfit.
He has been an integral part of the team this season as they push for promotion to the Championship as Luongo has scored six and assisted six in 31 league games.
As well as shining at club level, the Australian shone for his nation at this year’s Asian Cup in January as the Socceroos lifted the trophy for the first time.
Luongo was named Player of the Tournament and is ready to prove himself as a Premier League star, with Sherwood’s Villa a perfect fit for the ex-Tottenham man.
Would Massimo Luongo be a good signing for Aston Villa?
