Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has been named as the 2014/15 season’s Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year, and has handed the Blues a major boost by claiming he will not be leaving the club this summer.
The 24-year-old Belgian star has enjoyed a fine season, scoring 13 goals with eight assists in 32 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, and he is on the verge of winning the title with the West London club with five games to go.

“I’m very happy. One day I want to be the best and what I did this season is play very well, Chelsea played very well,” he said after winning the prestigious award.
“I don’t know if I deserve to win but it is good for me. It is better to be voted by the players – they know everything about football.
“Personally I have played a good season, I have been there in the big games and I scored a lot of important goals, this is why I’m better this season.”
Hazard, who was also named in the PFA Team of the Year, went on to deliver Chelsea fans with a huge boost by claiming that he will not be leaving the club this summer.

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for the tricky winger but Hazard was quick to rule out a move to Spain, saying: “No, I’m staying.”
The last three winners of the PFA Player of the Year award have left their clubs at the end of the season’s as Robin Van Persie left Arsenal for Manchester United in 2012, Gareth Bale moved to Real Madrid from Spurs in 2013 and Luis Suarez joined FC Barcelona from Liverpool last summer.
Hazard has no reason to move clubs and looks set to stay with the Blues for at least another season, and that will be the biggest boost Chelsea fans could ask for ahead of the summer transfer window.
