MLS Power Rankings: Week 11 – Revs go top as NYCFC fall to bottom

Week 11 was another dramatic one in MLS as there were 27 goals in the 11 matches played over the last few days, with a few surprise results changing the look of things in the MLSGB Power Rankings.

DC United and Orlando City both had double gameweek’s and faced each other on Wednesday night, with DCU winning 2-1. United then lost 1-0 at Philadelphia Union on Sunday night and fall away from top spot in the Power Rankings as a result.

Orlando picked up their first home win of the season in Sunday’s 4-0 thumping of LA Galaxy and move up to 15th in the rankings, with Eastern Conference rivals Philadelphia and Montreal Impact also rising after solid wins.

New York City FC fall to the bottom of the rankings after their 2-2 draw with Chicago Fire now leaves them without a win in nine. While at the top of the Eastern, New England Revolution extended their unbeaten run to nine and now sit at the top of the rankings.

FC Dallas and New York Red Bulls drew 0-0 on Friday night and both sit second and third respectively, with Seattle Sounders climbing above Vancouver Whitecaps into fifth after their 2-0 Cascadia Cup win in Canada.
