Venue: Dick’s Sporting Goods Park – Saturday, May 23 – 21:00 ET (02:00 BST)

The Rapids come into the game fresh after last week’s match at Sporting Kansas City was postponed because of bad weather, and head coach Paulo Mastroeni will hope that gives his side the edge.

The signings of strikers Kevin Doyle and Luc Solignac could improve their fortunes in front of goal as Colorado have only netted nine times in ten games so far.
They have drawn their last four matches 1-1 and need to start finding wins quickly to have any chance of making the playoffs come the end of the campaign.
Vancouver come into the game also needing to improve after last week’s 2-0 loss to Cascadia rivals Seattle Sounders means they have only won one of their last four.Embed from Getty Images
The Whitecaps have won their last three games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and will be looking to heap the misery on their Western Conference rivals this Saturday.
Colorado Rapids will be without Marcelo Sarvas again as he is out until mid-late June. Kevin Doyle and Luc Solignac will both be hoping for a first start in attack, with Gabriel Torres likely to drop into midfield.Embed from Getty Images
Vancouver Whitecaps boss Carl Robinson has five injury concerns going into this one. Andre Lewis and Marco Bustos are both ruled out, while Sam Adekugbe, Diego Rodriguez and Mauro Rosales are all doubtful. Pa Modou Kah and Adekugbe, if he plays, need to be careful as they are both one booking off a suspension.
