Teams across MLS are struggling to find consistency as the quality of play has improved this year, but the Sounders have been steadily picking up wins and now sit at the top of the MLSGB Power Rankings after back-to-back wins against Colorado Rapids and New York Red Bulls this week.
They were one of six sides to play twice in Week 13, with the Portland Timbers the only other side to pick up six points this week, moving them into a playoff position and up into 11th in our rankings.
Sporting KC were another Western Conference outfit on the rise after beating FC Dallas 4-0 on Friday night. SKC have not lost in sixth and are slowly climbing the standings.
